Behind every great brand is great design.  Part of that process includes execution, craftsmanship and attention to detail.  When Paula decided to start her own line of swim and resort wear, she knew from the beginning that her focus would be on quality fit and construction.  It was a leasson she learned from her grandmothers and the main contrinbuting factor for why the brand is where it is, today.

Both trendy and classic, snake and python prints have slithered their way back as this season’s sultry must-haves for summer.  Whether in bright colors or neutral tones, such as silver-grey or muted copper, snakeskin never fails to add a touch of the exotic to any closet.   A signature print of ViX, serpentine motifs were translated from the runway to the boardwalk.  The result?  Bikini perfection shimmering in black and gold.

Often touted as the island that feels “undiscovered,” Curacao is one of the lesser-known paradises dotting the Caribbean.  And like its place of inspiration, the Curacao print of the ViX Summer 2013 Collection delivers just as unique of an impression. 

The geometric pattern of white and blue, accents of ivory horn and of course, the signature 24K gold-plated details, come together for a resort look both sophisticated and unassuming.

With the onset of warmer weather, ViX designer Paula Hermanny was recently photographed for a feature with The Wall Street Journal.   Set in the ocean-carved cliffs of La Jolla shores, the shoot centered on Paula’s favorite looks from the Summer 2013 Collection and the ways in which she would style them.

Arriving in the classic striped Malawi dress, the designer set to work, choosing a little cove both equal parts scenic and raw.  In the sand, she laid out the St. Martin Detail bikini, a mesmerizing suit accented with soft, nautical rope and leather tassels; the Sally Chemise dress ...
