Designer Paula Hermanny knows the importance of investing in quality alone time and tells us that this year, she is “hoping to incorporate meditation in [her] daily life.”
Meditation is a soothing technique and a healthy way to reconnect with your self and body. If even short-lived, a sanctuary of peace and harmony is created and can set the tone for the rest of your day. In a book she just finished, “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle, Paula learned that staying present is key to remaining engaged throughout the day. And as she focuses on balance and wellness, she gives us another tip for New Year resolutions: “try to live the moment.” A great reminder for making 2012 a new YOU year!
