Trancoso is a quaint seaside town in the state of Bahia, of northern Brasil. The beaches are known for powdery, white sand and can offer a more romantic seclusion than the high-traffic tourist beaches such as Copacabana. Off the beaten track, “Praia do Espelho,” or “Mirror Beach” can be found as one of Trancoso’s best beaches—the semi-deserted feel and naturally warm reef waters make it perfect for the adventurous.
