2014 Resolutions: Sweet Simplicity

January 1st, 2014

It's a new year and a new beginning! Why not set yourself up for sucess with our five simple resolutions. The key to an amazing year (and beyond) is to focus on the intuitive:

1. Spend time with yourself.

That could mean a daily yoga session (like it does for designer Paula Hermanny) or a once-a-week solo lunch date. This year, be sure to carve out time for you and enjoy the present moment.

2. Dress for the (non-existent) ocassion.

Look good, feel good. Repeat. There's something to be said for the sheer joy of feeling unstoppable!

3. Eat well.

Indulge with food that is fresh, healthy and good for your body. Eat with your eyes, never skip a meal and turn your relationship with food into one of savory abandon.

4. Say yes.

In the end, we only regret the things we didn't try. Accept challenges, try new things and dive into adventure. RSVP to that dinner party. Sign up for horseback riding lessons. Just step out of your comfort zone.

5. Look again.

Appreciate what's in front of you and take the time to notice details. Treasure those small moments. Seek out the special in the mundane. Perceive the world in a whole new way!
