Paula’s going to New York!


Next Monday, we’ll find our Brasilian designer Paula Hermanny at New York Market Week, bringing ViX to the Big Apple. A venue for fashion designers and industry gurus, NYC is the perfect place for ViX to debut the much-anticipated Summer 2012 Collection. There will be editor meet and greets galore with magazines such as Glamour, Elle, InStyle and Cosmopolitan, plus a previewing of the new line at Irina Korkhin Sales (IKS) Showroom.

As the pinkest month of the year draws to a close, the ViX team reflects on the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA). The most common type of cancer among women in the United States, roughly one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Shedding light on BCA as they have for several years, Estee Lauder and Phillips united again this past month to cast world landmarks aglow in pink. Take a look into the factory and behind the scenes of making these classic gold accessories that have come to define the sophisticated and chic ViX look. Each gold piece is individually crafted and plated in 23K gold to give it just the right amount of shine. After completing the process of molding, dipping, drying and finishing, the pieces are ready to give our signature suits the perfect glamorous accent.

Working for a designer swimwear company has its perks, and being sunny San Diego doesn't hurt either! With summer winding down, the ViX team took a trip to the beach for a little rest and relaxation!
