These vivid impressions were ViX designer Paula Hermanny’s earliest memories of art.  Her continued fascination and appreciation for art grew from youthful preoccupation to full manifestation through her present day designs. Inside ViX Designer Paula Hermanny’s closet, scarves and pashminas are as ubiquitous as purses and shoes.  Besides inheriting a love of textiles from her grandmothers, Paula is also able to see the potential in a single square of wool.

“They’re an easy way to bring color to a basic outfit,” she explains.  Praising the versatility of the pashmina, Paula goes on to mention how convenient they are for travel.  They provide warmth in lieu of a scratchy airline blanket, can be worn during any season and can often be worn with any outfit.

“Yoga is such a huge part of my routine,” ViX designer Paula Hermanny says, “I try to do it every morning.”

Besides the benefits of proper breathing and muscle toning, the practice of yoga gives Paula a special moment for introspection.  In her quiet solitude, she is able to meditate and reconnect with her center.  This blend of physical exercise, reflection and breathing provides the perfect start to Paula’s day.
