Open position for Logistics Manager in San Diego area:
Duties: Ability to understand and operate all areas involved in the supply chain; Checking costs, performing transactions, assuring quality issues, communicating with the warehouse manager at ViX Factory in Brazil; Coordinate Inbound and Outbound Shipments with Freight partners from Pick-up of goods to receipt into the warehouse. This responsibility is for all channels: Wholesale/EDI/E-Com; Take ownership for different projects and manage direct reports in a fastpaced environment; Negotiate prices with service providers for warehouse operations and deliveries; Manage and keep inventory of quality, quantity, transport costs, delivery times and efficiency; Create commercial documentation and manage international shipments; Sales team support; Conduct monthly and annual inventory; Supervise, train, and coach a workforce of an average of 10 people; Actively participate in growing the branch.
Job Requirements: Portuguese language is preferred; Record of successful warehouse and logistics experience (Mandatory); Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory); Ability to lead and manage staff; Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills; Excellent ability to work independently and handle multiple projects; Experience in POS (Point of Sale) Software is a differential; Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams is a differential; BlueCherry CGS Software Experience is preferred.
Days/Hours: Week days Monday-Friday.
Salary: $65K/YEAR
