Itacaré is located in a region called Casta do Cacau located in Bahia - Brazil, a true paradise hidden next to Ilhéus. Built-in a unique geological formation in the northwest of Brazil it borders rocky cliff and fertile soils where the Atlantic Rainforest encroaches upon the sea. This is a must on your bucket list.

What to do
The Itacaré beaches vary tremendously from one another, ranging from hidden wild beaches to very urban ones. With more populated areas like Resende beach or the hidden ones like the ones accessed through BA-0001 roadway like Praianha, Jeribucaçu beach, Itacarezinho beach, or Siriaco beach.
The perfect way to end an amazingly relaxing day is watching the sunset at Mirante do Xaréu. The left side of the Concha beach is a literal postcard that can be easily accessed walking from the Coroinha beach or the infamous Pituba street.
Itacaré heart's located at Pituba Street, perfect for walking around especially at night. Filled with small boutiques, bars, and restaurants.

Vila Barracuda restaurant
All their recipes are inspired by a mixture of local and fresh ingredients found on the day-to-day of Itacaré. The concept of the restaurant is a fusion between local and traditional Bahian and the simplicity of the Nordic countries.
Jiló restaurant and bar
Located in a premium spot with a clear view of the Coroinha beach. The sophisticated menu is known for the seafood with a twist. The owner is part of the staff themselves.
